Electrical Products Testing

Electrical Products Division is divided into Electrical Safety and Electronic Testing Department and ElectroMagnetic Compatibility Department. The two departments provide a full range of testing and certification services for electrical and electronic products with main emphasis on electrical safety, environmental and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing for the international market including the European Union, the United States and the Asia Pacific region.

Accreditations and Recognitions

Our Electrical Products Division (EP) is an accredited testing laboratory for Deutscher Akkreditierungs Rat (DAR) of Germany, ASTA BEAB Certification Services (ASTA BEAB) of United Kingdom, MET Laboratories Inc. (MET) of USA, USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) of USA, Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) of Sausi Arabia, Public Authority for Industry (PAI) of Kuwait, China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) of China, and the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) of Hong Kong. It has also gained the recognition from ASTA BEAB Certification Services (ASTA BEAB), Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), ROSTEST (GOST), Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Technology Laboratories (JET), Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), Norges Elektriske Materiell Kontroll (NEMKO), PSB Corporation (PSB) and Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE).

Furthermore, we are also a CB Testing Laboratory, where the safety tests are performed based on IEC standards for CB Test Reports and Certificates under the CB Scheme. We are also the only CB laboratory in Hong Kong under China as the National Certifying Body (NCB), and as a subcontracted testing laboratory authorized by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC)
